Robert Maggin, M.D.

Dr. Maggin has been a lifelong resident of the Washington Metropolitan area. He earned his B.S. from the University of Maryland and then an M.S. in Biology from Georgetown University. In 1980, he received his M.D. degree from the University of Maryland in Baltimore. He completed a three year residency program at Mercy Hospital in Baltimore, following which he earned his board certification in Internal Medicine. 

Dr. Maggin has a strong interest in geriatric care and spent 20 years as Medical Director of several areal nursing homes. He has also served as a medical director of the Laurel Hospital Alcohol and Substance Abuse Program and was chairman of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee at the hospital for more than 10 years.

Along with his full-time commitment to the care of his patients, Dr. Maggin still finds time to devote to his first love -- his family. With is his wife and two sons, as well as other outside interests, he keeps busy in and out of the office.

Dr. Maggin feels that the pleasure of caring for and interacting with his many longtime patients continues to provide him  a challenging and fulfilling medical career.

John Margolis, M.D

Dr. Margolis is a native of Baltimore, Maryland and a cum laude graduate of Franklin and Marshall College. He graduated from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 1980 and completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Mercy Hospital where he served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Margolis is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and a member of the American College of Physicians and Med Chi of Maryland. He has a broad range of clinical experience in office-based medicine. He spent many years caring for patients in the acute care setting of hospitals and the long-term care setting of nursing homes.

Dr. Margolis enjoys all aspects of medicine, but particularly enjoys his interaction with a diverse group of patients. He takes very seriously his role as a practitioner of the art of medicine as well as his function as a teacher and an educator. Dr. Margolis lives in Silver Spring and is an active member of the community. He is an avid fan of the University of Maryland Terrapins.

Jenny Moy, M.D.

Dr. Moy attended University of Maryland, College Park where she achieved a Bachelor of Science Degree and went on to pursue her medical degree at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Dr. Moy completed in depth training in Internal Medicine in Philadelphia at the Medical College of Pennsylvania, now known as Drexel University College of Medicine. Dr. Moy is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and is currently a member of the American College of Physicians and Med Chi of Maryland.

Dr. Moy joined the practice in 1992 and has had geriatric experience in four different nursing homes, as well as acute care experience at Laurel Regional Hospital. Although she enjoys these and all areas of medicine, of particular interest to her are diabetes and women's health issues.

Born in Washington, D.C. to struggling immigrant parents, Dr. Moy feels the need to make a difference, and this is the philosophy that guides her practice in medicine.

Lalitha Tadikonda, M.D.

Dr. Tadikonda is a native of Maryland and graduated cum laude from Wellesley College. She went on to study medicine at University College Dublin in Ireland where she graduated with honors. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio before joining Drs. Maggin, Margolis and Moy in 2003. She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. 

Dr. Tadikonda practices all aspects of primary care including prevention. Her emphasis is on patient wellness. She is dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive health care to all of her patients.  

Mary Beth O'Brien, CRNP, MSN

Mary Beth O'Brien graduated summa cum laude from the Niagara University College of Nursing.  She received her M.S.N. in Med-Surg Nursing with an Administration Concentration from the University of Maryland.  She earned a Post-Masters Certification as an adult nurse practitioner at Johns Hopkins University.  She is a member and District Director of the Nurse Practitioner Association of Maryland.

Ms. O'Brien joined the practice in 1997.  As a nurse practitioner, she provides comprehensive primary care to patients with chronic and acute medical problems.  She is particularly interested in Women's Health care and patients with musculoskeletal issues and focuses on prevention of illness.

Outside of the office, Ms. O'Brien enjoys road cycling and golf with her husband and two sons.  She is a 20 year resident of Columbia, Maryland.
