Dr. Margolis lives in Silver Spring and is an active member of the community. He is an avid fan of the University of Maryland Terrapins.
Dr. Margolis is a native of Baltimore, Maryland and a cum laude graduate of Franklin and Marshall College. He graduated from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 1980 and completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Mercy Hospital where he served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Margolis is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and a member of the American College of Physicians and Med Chi of Maryland. He has a broad range of clinical experience in office-based medicine. He spent many years caring for patients in the acute care setting of hospitals and the long-term care setting of nursing homes.
Dr. Margolis enjoys all aspects of medicine, but particularly enjoys his interaction with a diverse group of patients. He takes very seriously his role as a practitioner of the art of medicine as well as his function as a teacher and an educator.
