Outside of the office, Mrs. O’Brien enjoys golf with her husband and two sons as well as yoga. She is a 30 year resident of Columbia, Maryland.
Mary Beth O’Brien graduated summa cum laude from the Niagara University College of Nursing. She received her M.S.N. in Med-Surg Nursing with an Administration Concentration from the University of Maryland. She earned a Post-Masters Certification as an Adult Nurse Practitioner at Johns Hopkins University. She is a member and past District Director of the Nurse Practitioner Association of Maryland.
Ms. O’Brien joined the practice in 1997. As a nurse practitioner, she provides comprehensive primary care to patients with chronic and acute medical problems. She is particularly interested in Women’s Healthcare and patients with musculoskeletal issues and focuses on prevention of illness.
